A little bit about the Math O Levels

To do well in O Levels Math, it’s important to first understand that Math is not like other subjects – it is,instead, based on understanding, not memorization.

photograph of a documentFor other subjects like the literature, Humanities (History and Geography) and even chemistry, you probably have to learn and memorize large number of information and rules you don’t have to understand all that well.

Afterwards, you go to the exam and vomit everything you’ve struggled desperately to memorize onto the paper, and forget almost everything later.

For Math however, it’s like riding a bike or learning to swim.

Once you’ve learnt it, you’ve learnt it for life. This means that understanding is important, not memorization.

So, interpret and learn the  required concept behind topics, and you’re set to go. Don’t forget that in Math exams, the answer is same in all the methods.

If you have the right answer with proper working, you’ve got the full marks. No need to worry about whether the teacher will like your presentation.
